Based upon the R.M. Academy, October 11, 1792, Wm. Rudyard's drawings, Plate 42. This is a French style bucket, doubled headed with locking lid; hand-forged lid chain. Constructed of solid air-dried white pine, 3 steel hoops. Sponge opening approximately 3" diameter. Overall hanging height 13" (including rope bale), widest bottom diameter approximately 7 1/2".
